Terrace
Heights Park & Playground
Redevelopment
Survey

Hi! I have been a resident
of Terrace Heights for the past 12 years, am married with young small children
and would like to see the Terrace Heights Park & Playground redeveloped to
better serve the residents of our community.
The area I am referring to
is that nice park along the back lane of 70th Street and 101A
Avenue. It is bordered by the ravine -
which gives it a beautiful and natural location. Unfortunately, over the years this area has not been improved or
up-graded other than to have play equipment that has been deemed unsafe removed
(such as the merry-go-round, teeter totters, big slide, and a climbing
apparatus).
The Terrace Heights
Community is quickly growing in the number of both young families and seniors
alike. I have spoken to many residents
over the past ten years and there has always been interest in redeveloping this
park for the enjoyment of all members of this community. I would like to start the process - I need your input and help to
do this. Please complete the attached
survey and either drop it off at my house or phone me and I’ll come by to pick
it up. I need to have replies in by September 20,
2006 in order to get a “Needs Assessment” completed and in to the
City by October 1, 2006.
Thank-you for your time
and I hope I can count on your support.
It would be wonderful to re-develop a beautiful park & playground
that could and would be used and enjoyed by all – together!
