When you belong to your community league, you belong to a great group of people, making a difference in your community and a large sense of belonging. You can also participate in a variety of services and programs in the neighbourhood.  Some examples of what your membership provides you are:

• Maintenance and operation of the community hall.  Reduced rate for hall bookings.

• Operation and maintenance of outdoor skating rinks.  Free public skating at all Edmonton skating rinks.

• Free swimming at Bonnie Doon and Hardisty pools on Community League swim nights.  Free swimming at Mill Creek pool throughout the summer.

• Recreational Sports: Soccer; Hockey; Softball; Baseball; and other League Sports Programs throughout the City of Edmonton.

• Social Activities - Events such as a ski day, family day, and the fall harvest fest are some of the examples.

• Communication Network: Community League newsletters and meetings provide a network by which the City of Edmonton can communicate directly to its constituents.

• Meet neighbours and friends.

• Neighbourhood Watch and other Crime Prevention activities.

• Reduced rate for some clubs and activities at the hall - eg. yoga, self defense.
