Patricia Motel Development – Information Session November 15th, 2006

The information session held on November 15th was a great success.  Representatives from the developer presented the proposed plans for the building.  They plan to apply for direct control (DC2) zoning.  The building will have 179 units and 280 underground parking stalls.  It will be on the site of the existing Patricia Hotel and the three homes behind (north) of the hotel.  It will be an adult (50+) building, constructed of concrete and steel.

We are at the first stage of the rezoning process.  The developers suggested it may take two years from this time until the building is complete if there are no issues.  Construction itself would be approximately one year.
