It is hard to believe this season that I have worked so hard for, is over. Our 14 teams have done all of us proud. We as a community have played hard, taught with passion, made good calls and cheered ourselves hoarse. I have never seen crowds as large as these for our games. You have all done this community proud.
Again I want to say thanks for all the efforts put forth by the volunteers. There were folks who took on jobs and made them happen like Sharon who got you all your great looking pictures, and Wendy who looked after all of your registrations, Michelle who called everyone and made our part of the Paul Johnson so great and Corinne who is looking after all the equipment
.
There are countless folks who did great things in the background, not for glory but to make the game and the community better. One special thank you to Chad Movold of Viewpoint Photography (www.viewpointphotography.net). Chad does not even have kids in soccer, but he took a Saturday to come out and shoot 400+ pictures of all of our players and coaches. Thanks Chad.
The greatest thing about the end of a season is being able to look to the horizon and see another coming. The indoor season will be upon us before you know it so watch for September registrations and October games. Until I see you then, have a good summer.
