Noted events outside of our Community
1.  RUSH Tickets.  RUSH has entered in an exclusive partnership with the Edmonton Federation of Community Leagues to provide Community League Members a deeply discounted ticket ofonly $10 for premium lower bowl seats at the grand venue of Rexall Place.  This is a great deal.  Use your membership when buying the tickets.

2.  Winter Events:  Winter program packages are available from the City of Edmonton for our community to book.  These packages can be part of special events, winter festivals, and more!  Choose from snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, ice skating, or create your own program with Community Services trained leaders. Contact our CRC (Melanie) for more information.

3.  Community Safety.  If there’s a suspicious property in your neighborhood, do not investigate it yourself or approach the occupants. Please call Alberta Sheriffs SCAN teams immediately, toll free at 1-866-960-SCAN (7226). We have two SCAN teams. A northern SCAN team based out of Edmonton and a southern team based out of Calgary.  To help us better serve Albertans, a SCAN complaint form is also available. Simply fill in the form with your concerns about illegal activities taking place on properties in your neighbourhood and submit it. A member of the SCAN team will contact you about your request.  The Safer Communities and Neighbourhood Act, which was a key recommendation from the Safer Communities and Crime Reduction Task Force, promotes community safety by cleaning up properties that:
- negatively affect the health, safety or security of one or more
  persons in a neighbourhood; and/or
- interfere with the peaceful enjoyment of one or more
properties in a community or neighbourhood.
