About the Event

Christmas ornaments are such a fun part of the holiday traditions. Homemade Christmas ornaments can be so special to treasure from year to year.

This is a wonderful 2-hour class geared to knitters with at least beginner knitting skills and also can be a nice learn-to-knit project. This class is taught by a wonderful Forest Terrace Heights Community League member who is also a knitting instructor, Lyndsey Peters. Lyndsey will be there to walk participants through a pattern to knit the adorable knit toque ornament pictured!

In this class, students will work with reading a pattern, cast yarn onto knitting needles, the pattern involves knit stitches and purl stitches, and how to cast off and finish the work.

There is a maximum of 8 students.

Kits will be provided that contain all the yarn needed, the pattern to keep and pom poms to be added.

Not provided but required: Either one set of straight 3.25mm needles or a set of double pointed needles 3.

Students are welcome to bring a drink and/or snack with them.

Location: Forest Heights Community Hall (10150 80 st)
