About the Event

Ever get so frustrated with your child's behaviour that you're ready to pull your hair out? Especially during all this time they've spent at home! Let's face it..children have bad days, just like adults. And when we both have bad days... it makes those difficult and challenging behaviours seem impossible to handle. You're not alone! Join me, Tina Geers, for an interactive discussion on why children do what they do and how we can support and talk with them so they listen. "It takes a village to raise a child" and together, we can raise competent and confident children.

Bio:

Tina is an early childhood specialist, and "Protector of Play." She has been an early childhood educator and consultant for over 17 years, working with children, educators, teachers and families to create a community that supports a positive environment and support network for children. She bridges the gap between theory (the geeky brain science behind early childhood learning and development) and implementation - what actually works! She is passionate about advocating for the rights of children to play and helping adults understand the importance of play.
