The community league offers a variety of affordable programs throughout the year for members. Discounts on registration are available for community league members from all leagues in Edmonton.

Join Layton for an hour long HIGH-intensity cardio workout. High Fitness has choreographed workout moves to upbeat popular music that you will know and love. Your heart will be pumping as he takes you through intervals of cardio tracks as well as toning, barre, ab and arm tracks. High Fitness combines old school aerobic with new techniques to guarantee a class that will leave you sweating and smiling.
Layton Byam is a young university student who has a contagious energy and drive. He stands out among the crowd of High instructors being Canada's only male instructor.

Pilates is a gentle form of exercise that can be practiced by people of all ages and physical capabilities. Each class will work to balance all muscle groups strength and flexibility with an emphasis on challenging the core muscles with each movement. Challenging but safe method to sculpt your body and to feel increased agility in your everyday movements. This is an affordable, casual, friendly atmosphere.

Your community league membership provides you with access to indoor pools for free during specified times. Must have a membership card to gain free access.
Hardisty Indoor Pool - access weekly, Sundays from 1:15 - 2:45pm, September to June
Commonwealth Leisure Centre - access entire facility weekly, Saturdays from 5-7pm, year round.
Pool availability may change due to bookings with the city of Edmonton, please check the pool schedule in advance.

Lyndsey, a resident of Forest Terrace Heights offers fun and flexible yoga sessions for all levels.
Classes are a beginner to intermediate Hatha practice with an emphasis on alignment in postures, core strength, flexibility, balance as well as concentration and breath control.

Come one, come all, to Zumba®...
Pretty much the most awesome workout ever. Dance to great music, with great people and burn a ton of calories without even realizing it. The class will leave you sweating, glistening, smiling and looking for more fun.
All fitness and experience levels are welcome. Geared for men and women ages 13+. Bring your water bottle, a pair of sneakers, a friend and a smile.

Note: outdoor rinks are currently closed. Check back again in the fall!
Both rinks are generally open from December to late February or early March, weather dependent. Facilities may be closed or locked if weather conditions are deemed unsafe or will result in damage to ice surfaces (i.e. it is unseasonably cold or warm).
The community league operates two outdoor rinks:
Terrace Heights - 71 St & 99 Ave
The rink is accessible 24/7, lights on until 9pm daily. Located at the South West corner of the Argyll Centre schoolyard, near the alley. No indoor access and no supervision.
Forest Heights - 10150 – 80 Street
The rink is accessible 24/7. Paid rink attendants man the skate shack Monday - Friday from 5 - 9 pm, Saturday & Sunday from 12 - 7 pm.
Adult Coed Hockey at the Forest Heights rink is a community pick up style game for adults. Drop in on Sundays from 7-8pm when the rink is open.
Learn to Skate sessions are facilitated by the City of Edmonton at the Forest Heights rink.
