FREE SKATING

Note: the Forest Heights rink is closed as of March 2020 - check back again in late 2020. Terrace Heights is closed as we are currently without a volunteer to flood the rink. If you're interested, please contact info@forestterrace.org.

Both rinks are generally open from December to late February or early March, weather dependent.  Facilities may be closed or locked if weather conditions are deemed unsafe or will result in damage to ice surfaces (i.e. it is unseasonably cold or warm).

The community league operates two outdoor rinks:

Terrace Heights - 71 St & 99 Ave (currently closed, see note above)

The rink is accessible 24/7, lights on until 9pm daily. Located at the South West corner of the Argyll Centre schoolyard, near the alley. No indoor access and no supervision.

Forest Heights - 10150 – 80 Street

The rink is accessible 24/7. Paid rink attendants man the skate shack  Monday - Friday from 5 - 9 pm, Saturday & Sunday from 12 - 7 pm.

Adult Coed Hockey at the Forest Heights rink is a community pick up style game for adults. Drop in on Sundays from 7-8pm when the rink is open.

Learn to Skate sessions are facilitated by the City of Edmonton at the Forest Heights rink on Mondays from 5-8pm.
