Urban Poles were designed by an occupational therapist and their use while walking activates the abdominals with each step as well as increases calories burned. They are excellent for seniors and those with chronic conditions such as arthritis and obesity.

Weekly Urban Poling / Nordic Walking classes have ended for now. For those who wish to try this full body exercise for health promotion or rehabilitation you can contact Sonya to book a free lesson and trial of the poles with any current community membership at or 780-463-1613.
